    1. Dormant BOSA Account Reactivation

    We are pleased to remind members that dormant BOSA accounts can now be reactivated completely free of charge.

    Simply resume your regular savings contributions to regain access to the full range of membership benefits, including:

    • Eligibility for affordable credit facilities.
    • Access to convenient mobile banking services.
    • Participation in the Sacco’s wealth creation opportunities.

    2. Kingdom SACCO Shines at the Ruiru Sub County Cooperative Exhibition Day

    Kingdom SACCO proudly participated in the Ruiru Sub-County Cooperative Exhibition Day, held on 30th May 2026 at Ruiru Boys Secondary School Grounds. The event brought together cooperatives, stakeholders, and members of the public for a day of networking, learning, exhibitions, games, and community engagement.

    Our SACCO was represented by six Brand Ambassadors and four staff members, who actively participated in the various activities and engagements throughout the day. The event provided an excellent platform to showcase Kingdom SACCO’s products, services, and achievements while strengthening our presence within the cooperative movement.

    We are delighted to report that Kingdom SACCO emerged among the top-performing SACCOs and received several prestigious awards:

    1. 🏆 1st Position – Loan Book Growth
    2. 🏆 1st Position – FOSA SACCO (Overall)
    3. 🥈 2nd Position – Membership Mobilization

    These achievements reflect the dedication of our members, staff, leadership, and members whose collective efforts continue to drive the growth and success of our SACCO.

    The exhibition day was not only an opportunity to celebrate our accomplishments but also a source of motivation for future participation and leadership in cooperative initiatives

    Kingdom SACCO continues to embrace innovative solutions that make saving and loan repayment easier, smarter and more convenient for members. Through M-PESA Ratiba, members can now automate their savings deposits and loan repayments, 

    4. Chairman's Report: Leadership, Governance & Strategic Direction

    Leadership & Governance

    The Board reported continued progress in strengthening leadership and governance at Kingdom Sacco. During the year, Mr. Joel Saitoti was successfully appointed Chief Executive Officer through a transparent and competitive process conducted in full compliance with regulatory requirements. The Board expressed full confidence in his ability to steer the Society into its next phase of growth.

    The Chairman reaffirmed the Board’s unwavering commitment to strong corporate governance, sound internal controls, and regulatory compliance, with succession planning continuing to be strengthened through the Nominating Committee.

    Board Changes and Appreciation

    In accordance with Cooperative Societies Rules, Mr. Francis Kamundia, Mr. Fidelis Musyoka, and Ms. Mercy Kimani retired by rotation from the Board of Directors, and Ms. Matilda Kubende from the Supervisory Committee. The chairman sincerely thanked them for their dedicated service and stewardship.

    Looking Ahead - 2026 and Beyond

    The Chairman outlined the Society’s key priorities going forward:

    • Streamlining member onboarding and reducing loan turnaround times for a better member experience
    • Deepening market reach through the Brand Ambassadors program and church partnerships
    • Introducing USSD mobile banking and Chama/Kanisa digital platforms
    • Strengthening financial position through deposit mobilization and capital adequacy

    The incoming Board will also lead the development of the 2027–2031 Strategic Plan.

    The Chairman closed by rallying members around the 2026 theme:

    “Resilience, Growth, and Member Value.”

    6. Supervisory Committee Report: Strengthening Governance and Compliance

    The Supervisory Committee reaffirmed its commitment to oversight through its four key mandates:

    1. Financial review
    2. Board performance monitoring
    3. Regulatory compliance
    4. Risk management

    Their Key Observations

    • Commended the appointment of CEO Joel Saitoti
    • Highlighted strong collaboration between governance structures
    • Noted the need to reduce non-performing loans (NPLs)
    • Recommended diversification of income sources beyond loan interest

    The Committee also emphasized improving member understanding of financial reports and key terms to enhance transparency and accountability.

    Conclusion

    The meeting closed with prayers for wisdom, growth, and impact, as Kingdom Sacco positions itself for a future of financial strength, innovation, and community transformation.
